Lists and plans

The first ever post in Something Brilliant! It should be something brilliant about dolls in period dresses, I think. No pressures.

Yes. No pressures.

I think I begin with a list. Lists are always good. (If they are about nice things, not about bad things like remember your dentist time and wash the toilet.)

A list about things that I have sewn in this year

1) January. A Victorian winter coat for Evangeline. Still unfinished.
2) May - June. A chinoiserie inspired 1800th century dress for Roísin. Includes a stays.
3) June. A 1920's dress for Anna.
4) July. A robe à l'anglaise for Roísin.
5) July. A Victorian sailor dress for my mother's doll (as a Christmas present).
6) August. A pet-en-l'air jacket for Roísin.
7) A fichu, a pair of cotton ruffles and a petticoat for Roísin.

A list about things that are under work

1) A pierrot-kind-of-jacket-or-something for Roísin.
2) A white petticoat (trimmed with a flounce) for Roísin. Almost finished.

A list about things I need to sew before 5th of September

0) To finish those things in the second list.
1) An apron.
2) A quilted silk petticoat (a pet-en-l'air needs one).
3) A regency spencer for Roísin.
4) A second pair of cotton ruffles (a pierrot-kind-of-jacket-or-something needs them).
5) A bum roll.

It is quite unrealistic to sew all that before September. Specially because my fingers told me some days ago that they don't like sewing anymore (and my brain told me to just watch the Olympics). But I want to try! Because in September I'm going to visit my friend in Ireland and my sister promised to borrow her camera and my friend promised me some Irish manor houses and mountains and sea and I really need to take photos of the dolls and dresses there!
